Key Responsibilities of the Travel Nurse
Provide specialized nursing care for patients undergoing interventional radiology procedures.Prepare patients for procedures, monitor vital signs, and provide post-procedure care.
Administer medications, sedation, and assist with procedural tasks as ordered.
Collaborate closely with physicians, technologists, and support staff.
Educate patients and families on procedures, aftercare, and follow-up instructions.
Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes.
Respond promptly to emergencies and procedural complications.
Requirements of the Travel Nurse
Valid Texas Registered Nurse (RN) license.Minimum of 2 years’ experience in Interventional Radiology, Cath Lab, or procedural nursing.
Current BLS certification; ACLS preferred.
