Job Number 726024BR Description:We are seeking an entry-level energetic Hardware Engineer to support the development of a COTS-based test-system platform that emulates tactical equipment. In this role you will design, assemble, and validate hardware using commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) modules while interfacing with a variety of aerospace and defense communications standards such as ARINC 429/664, CAN, RS-232, and related signal families.
You will generate and maintain accurate wiring diagrams, redline updates, and bill-of-materials revisions, collaborating closely with peer engineers. The position offers hands-on experience in rapid prototyping and verification testing within a fast-paced, high-visibility program, providing ample opportunity for professional growth and deeper expertise in hardware architecture and integration.

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must have the ability to obtain a Secret Security Clearance. A Final Secret Clearance is required to start.

Basic Qualifications: Electrical Engineering degree or equivalent experience Must be able to obtain a Secret Clearance

Desired Skills: Experience designing and building hardware with commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) modules.

Familiarity with aerospace/defense interface standards such as ARINC 429/664, CAN, RS-232, MIL-STD-1553, etc.

Ability to create and maintain wiring diagrams, redline updates, and bill-of-materials revisions.

Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
