Job Description
  • Lead and coordinate all MEP scopes throughout construction.
  • Manage MEP subcontractors, inspections, and commissioning activities.
  • Coordinate utilities, overhead/underground systems, and sequencing.
  • Partner closely with PMs, design team, inspectors, and owner reps.
  • Monitor schedule milestones and drive accountability across trades.
  • Maintain safety, quality, and compliance standards for academic facilities.
  • Support turnover, systems start‑up, closeout, and warranty phases.

The Successful Applicant

A successful K-12 Construction Superintendent should have:

  • Proven Superintendent experience with strong tenure.
  • Extensive K‑12 education project experience required.
  • Deep exposure to MEP‑heavy scopes within academic buildings.
  • Experience on large, complex ground‑up projects preferred.
  • Strong ability to coordinate multiple MEP trades simultaneously.
  • Comfortable working within large, structured project teams.
  • Background with larger, nationally recognized GCs is a strong plus.
