- Shift: 12-hour day shifts (7:00am – 7:00pm), Monday–Friday; call requirements (schedule may vary)
- Contract Duration: 13 weeks (Start: 2/23/2026 – End: 5/23/2026)
- Hours per Week: 36
- Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,540 - $2,670
- Orientation Dates: 1/26, 2/2, 2/9, 2/16, or 2/23
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Tennessee or compact state (Tennessee nursing license)
- Minimum 2 years recent CVOR / Cardiothoracic OR experience in a high-acuity operating room
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Prior travel nurse experience required (travel RN)
- COVID-19 vaccination or valid exemption required by start date
- Scrub and circulate for advanced cardiac and thoracic surgeries, including heart and lung transplants (CVOR scrub nurse and circulating RN duties)
- Provide expert perioperative care for adult patients across a wide range of cases: open heart, transplant, trauma/neuro, general surgery, ortho, GYN, urology, ENT, plastics, vascular, robotic/hybrid rooms, ambulatory ortho, burn, hepatic-biliary
- Participate in OR call rotation for fair distribution of call shifts among staff
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (surgeons, anesthesiology, perfusion, ICU) in a fast-paced, Level I trauma hospital
- Float within the hospital’s OR Float Pool as needed (no floating to other hospital locations)
- Work in a renowned medical center in the heart of Nashville — strong case variety and high-acuity CVOR exposure
