Description
American Traveler is hiring a travel MRI Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Santa Fe, NM, requiring at least 1 year of MRI experience and ARRT or ARMRIT certification.
Details- Hospital-based MRI department
- Rotating schedule: Wednesday–Friday 11:30 AM–12:00 AM and Thursday–Saturday 6:30 AM–7:00 PM
- 3x12-hour shifts per week
- May be required to work other shifts or float to other campuses as needed
- Minimum 1 year of MRI experience in a hospital or clinical setting
- MRI certification from ARRT or ARMRIT required
- BLS required via AHA
- NM state license required if applicable
- MRT by MIRTP NMED required if applicable
- Graduate of an accredited Radiology Technology program or equivalent
- Basic computer proficiency required
- SSN required for consideration
- Perform routine and advanced MRI procedures while supporting patient flow and fellow imaging technologists
- Responsibilities include MRI patient and employee safety screening, basic equipment troubleshooting, QA participation, and image archiving in PACS
- Must be able to act as a PACS Superuser, including following downtime procedures and escalating issues as needed
- Expected to participate in ongoing education and stay current with safety and technical advances within scope of licensure
- Candidate must live more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for travel pay rates — local candidates may be considered on a case-by-case basis
