Job Details- Position: Med/Surg Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN)

- Shift Duration: 12-hour nights
- Weekly Hours: 36
- Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,910-$2,010
- Unit Setting: Med/Surg Telemetry / Orthopedic Unit
- Schedule Notes: Nights, every other weekend, every other holiday
- Current RN license in the state of practice or compact state eligibility
- 2 years of RN experience required
- BLS certification required
- ACLS certification required
- Dysrhythmia exam required
- Experience in an acute care hospital, Med/Surg, or telemetry nursing setting strongly preferred
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well with patients and interdisciplinary healthcare team members
- Background or familiarity with orthopedic post-op care, surgical drains, and telemetry monitoring preferred
- Provide high-quality nursing care to a primarily orthopedic and telemetry patient population
- Conduct assessments, develop care plans, implement interventions, and evaluate patient outcomes
- Safely administer medications and monitor patients for changes in condition
- Care for patients with conditions such as post-op orthopedic recovery, medical issues, and select trauma cases
- Monitor and manage lines, drains, oxygen support, and telemetry needs as appropriate
- Collaborate closely with physicians, nursing staff, and support team members to coordinate patient care
- Educate patients and families to promote understanding, recovery, and discharge readiness
- Maintain a calm, professional approach while delivering compassionate bedside care
