Sr. Project Manager - Self-Perform Division - GC

About Our Client

This person will be the team leader of the Self Perform Group for Madison Operations. This person will have strong leadership skills, the ability to forecast budgets and run them on tight time-lines. This firm has long been operating in Wisconsin, but they are looking for a person who can run self perform scopes in the short term and, in the long term, build out the self perform division for the Madison operating group.

• Work-flow: The Self Perform Project Manager will select trades scopes on projects ranging from $5-150M

• Plan, manage, and oversee construction projects from start to finish, ensuring timely and efficient execution.
• Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
• Collaborate with clients, contractors, and team members to ensure project requirements are met.
• Monitor project progress and address any issues or delays promptly.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, building codes, and regulatory requirements.
• Prepare and present project updates and reports to stakeholders.
• Manage project budgets, including tracking expenses and controlling costs.
• Identify and mitigate potential risks throughout the project life-cycle.

• Minimum 7 years experience in project management within the commercial construction
• Bachelors in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or Architecture preferred
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, safety standards, and building codes.

• Ability to communicate effectively with clients, contractors, and team members.
• Proficiency in project management tools and software.
• A results-oriented mindset with a focus on delivering quality outcomes.
