- Experience: Experience requirements will follow facility/unit policy (no minimum years specified in this posting)
- Charge Requirement: Must be willing to take Charge RN assignments as needed
- Clinical Skills: Strong assessment, prioritization, and monitoring skills for intermediate-care/telemetry patients
- Communication: Clear, timely escalation and collaboration with providers and the healthcare team
- Documentation: Accurate charting in the EMR and adherence to unit protocols
- Deliver safe, evidence-based patient care as a PCU/Step-Down Registered Nurse for patients with complex medical and post-procedural needs
- Continuously monitor telemetry and patient status, recognize changes in condition, and escalate care appropriately
- Administer medications and therapies per provider orders and unit standards; document accurately in the EMR
- Coordinate care with interdisciplinary partners to support patient education, care progression, and discharge planning
- Serve as Charge RN when assigned, supporting unit flow, clinical prioritization, staffing communication, and patient safety
- Maintain compliance with infection prevention, safety practices, and facility policies
