We're looking for an Off-the-Road Service Technician who places an emphasis on creating results for teammates, customers, and the company.
Safely operate specialized tools and equipment to repair and replace a wide variety of off-the- road tires.

What You’ll Do as an Off--the-Road Service Technician:
For tires (functions performed per TIA guidelines):
- Remove, install, and perform repairs on a wide variety of off-the-road equipment tires, encompassing sizes from small lawn equipment to oversized rock quarry trucks
- Safely separate and reassemble tires onto wheels, using specialized equipment
- Evaluate tire and rim conditions to determine if repair or replacement is needed
- Provide fleet inspections at customer locations to make recommendations to keep their equipment running in optimal condition
- Perform Emergency On-Site Service to repair/replace OTR tires
- Prepare paperwork on-site detailing what services were performed
- Effectively communicate fleet needs with Service Managers and Sales
- Operate heavy-duty service trucks and hydraulic manipulator hands
- Operate and maintain hand, power, and pneumatic tools
- Safely operate all shop, mobile tools, and machinery in accordance with applicable safety standards
- Maintain Company Vehicles to D.O.T. standard
Equipment:
- Raise and lower vehicles safely, with hydraulic or floor jacks
- Safely operate all shop machinery, including but not limited to: safety cage, spreader, balancer, floor jacks or lifts, air powered tools, torque wrench and/or torque sticks
- Operate boom/hands truck in accordance with all OSHA/TIA/Safety guidelines and regulations
What boxes you have to check:
- Must have prior experience with commercial vehicles
- Must perform duties and responsibilities in a safe manner
- Must have a valid driver’s license; safe driving history to meet company’s insurance requirements
- Must be committed to service beyond the expectations of our customers
- The ability to work in a fast-paced customer service-oriented environment
- Team Player: Works well as a member of a group
- Detail Oriented: Capable of carrying out a given task with all the necessary details to get the task done well
- Must pass DOT medical certificate if applicable
- High School Graduate or GED preferred
Physical Demands / Work Environment:
- Frequent squatting, bending, and twisting
- Lifting: frequently lifting up to 100 pounds from ground to chest high
- Repetitive motion
- Sustained Vibrations
- Standing for extended periods of time
- Read tickets and perform work listed; write confirmation and recommendation
- Environment: Work in an environment that is not climate controlled. Temperatures range from extremely hot to extremely cold, depending on the season
- Vision (Near, distance, Color, Peripheral, Depth Perception)
- Sense of sound (Alarms, horns and motorized equipment)
- PPE: Ability to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) (Safety Glasses, gloves, safety harnesses, steel reinforced footwear)
