We are seeking a dependable, hospitality-focused Prep Cook / Driver to join our team in a part-time role averaging approximately 25 hours per week. This unique position combines commissary kitchen support with delivery and client-facing responsibilities, making it ideal for someone who enjoys variety in their workday and takes pride in both food preparation and customer service.
What You'll Do:
The Prep Cook / Driver will assist with food preparation and production in our commissary kitchen while also serving as a delivery driver for catered events, office meal programs, and client orders. This role requires a positive attitude, strong attention to detail, and a genuine commitment to hospitality, as you will regularly interact with clients and represent our company in the field.
Kitchen & Food Production:
Assist chefs and culinary staff with food preparation and packaging
Prepare ingredients according to recipes and production schedules
Portion, label, and organize products for delivery and service
Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen and storage areas
Follow all food safety and sanitation standards
Delivery & Client Service:
Load, transport, and deliver food, beverages, and supplies to client locations
Ensure orders are delivered accurately, safely, and on time
Set up deliveries as required and verify client satisfaction upon arrival
Serve as a professional representative of the company when interacting with clients, guests, and account teams
Communicate delivery updates and client feedback to management
Assist with event deliveries, pickups, and equipment transportation as needed
Requirements
What We Need From You:
Prior food service, culinary, catering, hospitality, or delivery experience preferred
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record required
Strong customer service and communication skills
A hospitality-first mindset and professional demeanor when interacting with clients
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
Comfortable driving company vehicles and navigating delivery routes
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Reliable transportation to and from the commissary required
