Travel Physical Therapy Assistant
Adecco Healthcare & Life Sciences is currently hiring Travel Physical Therapy Assistants (PTA) in Leesburg, Florida! This is a full-time, on-site contract opportunity supporting home health patients across Lake and Sumter Counties. Apply with a current resume for consideration.
Pay: $41 to 43 per hourType: Contract | Travel Physical Therapy Assistant
Contract Dates: Three month contract
Schedule: Monday – Friday | 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Weekly Guarantee: 32 Hours
Location: Leesburg, FL
Primary Responsibilities:
- Carry out established physical therapy treatment plans under supervision
- Monitor, document, and report patient progress and response to treatment
- Educate patients and families on exercises, mobility, and recovery goals
- Assist patients with mobility, safety, and functional activities
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to ensure continuity of care
- Support accurate and timely documentation of patient visits
Coverage Area:
- Lake and Sumter Counties, Florida
Requirements:
- Completion of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) program
- Active Florida PTA License
- Current BLS Certification
- Ability to work in a home health setting and travel within assigned territory
- Mileage reimbursement provided between patient visits (first patient to last patient)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior home health experience
- Experience with HCHB (Homecare Homebase)
- Strong communication and patient education skills
- Ability to work independently in a field-based role
