Job Description

In this role you will report to the VP of Engineering and be responsible for:

  • Designing and documenting electro‑mechanical systems from concept through production
  • Developing components and assemblies for complex motion control products
  • Performing analysis, troubleshooting, and testing at component and system levels
  • Creating test procedures, assembly processes, and technical reports
  • Collaborating with purchasing and manufacturing to source components and build accurate bills of materials
  • Communicating technical information clearly with internal teams, customers, and vendors
  • Managing and prioritizing multiple engineering projects and daily tasks
  • Following and recommending improvements to engineering development processes
  • Providing technical leadership and mentoring fellow engineers
  • Participating in root cause investigations and supporting corrective action activities

The Successful Applicant

The successful candidate will have
  • BS in Engineering
  • 4-8 years of experience in industrial product design and development
  • SolidWorks and GD&T familiarity
  • Experience integrating electro‑mechanical systems in a manufacturing environment
  • Ability to perform hands‑on assembly, testing, and troubleshooting
  • Strong communication, project management, and documentation skills
  • Familiarity with electrical test equipment, programming tools (e.g., Python or LabVIEW), or servo drive commissioning (plus)
