Position Overview:Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking Histology Technician – Surgical Pathology for an exciting Travel or Local job in New York, NY.
Responsibilities- Perform histology laboratory procedures and specimen preparation
- Process, embed, section, and stain tissue specimens accurately
- Maintain laboratory quality standards and compliance protocols
- Operate histology laboratory equipment safely and efficiently
- Ensure accurate documentation and specimen tracking
- Work independently while meeting turnaround time expectations
- Collaborate effectively with pathology and laboratory teams
- Associate Degree in Science and completion of an approved Histology accredited program OR Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
- NYS Clinical Laboratory Technologist License OR Certified Histology Technician OR Clinical Lab Technician certification from NYS Education Department
- Excellent technical laboratory skills
