RN – Labor & Delivery - RNDS

Facility Type: Critical Access Hospital

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week assignment in Ganado, Arizona. This role is ideal for nurses who are passionate about maternal and newborn care and comfortable working in a critical access hospital setting.

The RN will support patients through all stages of labor, delivery, and postpartum care in a patient-centered environment.

• Provide care to laboring mothers and newborns during antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum stages
• Monitor maternal and fetal conditions throughout labor and delivery
• Administer medications, IV therapies, and prescribed treatments
• Assist physicians and healthcare teams during deliveries and emergency procedures
• Assess patient conditions and respond to complications appropriately
• Educate patients and families on childbirth, recovery, and newborn care
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams
• Ensure a safe, compassionate, and patient-focused environment
• Follow hospital safety, infection control, and regulatory standards

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license required
• Minimum 1–2 years of recent Labor & Delivery experience preferred
• BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required
• Strong fetal monitoring and emergency response skills preferred
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication and critical thinking skills
