Position Overview:

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Actuary to join our team in Newark, New Jersey. The Actuary will be responsible for analyzing data, assessing risk, and developing strategies to help our company make informed business decisions.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mathematics, statistics, and finance, as well as excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities:

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in mathematics, statistics, actuarial science, or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience working as an Actuary in the insurance industry
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent mathematical and statistical knowledge
  • Proficient in data analysis and modeling software
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Professional certification from the Society of Actuaries or similar organization preferred
