Logistics Coordinator/Customer Service
You will be responsible for managing shipments from inception to delivery, providing top-tier communication to customers, and solving real-time transportation challenges. Qualifications & Skills
- Experience: 1–3 years of experience in logistics, transportation, or high-volume freight customer service preferred.
- Local Knowledge: Familiarity with the Jacksonville logistics landscape (Port of Jacksonville, local rail ramps, and major highway corridors) is a plus.
- Tech-Savvy: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook) and experience with TMS platforms.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Multitasking: Proven ability to manage multiple high-priority tasks in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Responsibilities- Shipment Management: Coordinate the daily movement of freight via various modes (TL, LTL, Intermodal) ensuring on-time pickup and delivery.
- Customer Excellence: Act as the dedicated point of contact for client accounts, providing proactive status updates and resolving inquiries with a professional "can-do" attitude.
- Carrier Communication: Negotiate rates and dispatch loads to carrier partners, verifying equipment availability and driver locations.
- Documentation & Compliance: Ensure all shipping documents (BOLs, PODs, Customs paperwork) are accurate, processed timely, and filed according to industry standards.
- Problem Solving: Identify potential transit delays or service failures and implement immediate solutions to minimize impact on the customer.
- Data Entry: Maintain real-time accuracy in the Transportation Management System (TMS) regarding load status, pricing, and notes.
