- Hours: 36 hours per week (Guaranteed minimum of 32 hours per week)

- Employment Type: Travel RN — Hospice RN travel assignment, home health and palliative care nursing
- On-Call: 1–3 shifts per week, including 3 weekends during the contract (must respond within 45 minutes when on call)
- Mileage Reimbursement: $0.70 per mile for home visits

- Minimum 3 years of nursing experience, preferably in hospice, home health, or palliative care
- Strong clinical assessment skills and experience with pain and symptom management in end-of-life care
- Current BLS certification required

- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills for family-centered care
- Compassionate demeanor with ability to support patients and families during difficult times
- EMR experience preferred (Hospicesoft / Careficient); documentation accuracy for compliance with state and federal hospice regulations
- Ability to work holidays and participate in on-call rotation as needed
- Blue scrubs preferred
- Deliver comprehensive hospice nursing assessments and develop individualized care plans aligned with hospice philosophy
- Provide pain and symptom management, medication education, and comfort-focused interventions in home hospice settings
- Educate and support patients, caregivers, and families on disease progression, self-care techniques, and end-of-life planning
- Coordinate and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team — physicians, social workers, chaplains, and volunteers — to ensure holistic palliative care
- Participate in on-call rotation and respond promptly to urgent patient needs and family concerns
- Maintain timely, accurate documentation in the EMR to meet hospice regulatory and quality standards
