Job Description
Construction Commercial Interiors Project Manager - Manhattan, NYC- Lead the full delivery of a 3+ year large-scale renovation project, including elevator replacement work in an occupied building.
- Implement and maintain project management systems related to scheduling, planning, and cost controls.
- Oversee all day-to-day job site activities and serve as the acting Superintendent on NYC public works projects.
- Coordinate work with city agencies such as DCAS, OGS, DDC, and DOT.
- Manage subcontractors, inspectors, and agency representatives to ensure compliance and progress.
- Assist with preconstruction activities and ensure project execution aligns with contract requirements.
- Maintain safety, DOB compliance, and documentation throughout the project lifecycle.

The Successful Applicant
A successful Construction Project Manager should have:
- 8+ years of experience as a Construction Project Manager working on NYC construction projects.
- Proven experience managing elevator replacement projects in occupied buildings.
- Strong background delivering public-sector projects for agencies such as DCAS, OGS, or DDC.
- Experience handling projects independently from start to finish.
- Local or easily commutable to Manhattan with deep familiarity building in NYC.
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or equivalent.
- Holds DOB requirements including SST 62-hour and OSHA certification.
