Financial Analyst Payroll Processor
In addition to payroll functions, this position supports the broader finance team during monthly closes and assists with operational metrics and plant-level safety and sustainability initiatives. Minimum Qualifications
- 2–3 years of payroll experience in a large corporation.
- Extensive experience working with a collective bargaining agreement.
- Systems Proficiency: Experience with WFM, UKG, Kronos, etc.
- Software: Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite of products.
- Time Management: Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Education: BS in Business Administration or Finance.
- Soft Skills: Advanced interpersonal and communication skills; ability to resolve conflict.
- Environment: Experience working in a fast-paced, multitasking environment.
- Aptitude: Critical thinking, problem-solving skills, and the ability to adapt to changing priorities.

Responsibilities- Process the payroll accurately, correctly and on time through daily validations, crewsheet entry, and approval.
- Balance payroll register to TAS, Kronos Time and Attendance system, or other payroll systems.
- Maintain TAS or Kronos (or other systems) including any upgrades and enhancements to ensure correct reporting of hours being paid.
- Respond to and resolve hourly payroll issues; may also respond to/resolve salary payroll issues.
- Resolve payroll discrepancies and may process grievance payments as requested by HR Personnel.
- Audit Controls: Trace the payroll process for any employee and generate reports as needed for regulatory purposes.
- Monthly Close: Prepares and enters data for monthly financial close, checking for accuracy and completeness.
- Reporting: Pulls standard reports and shares them with finance and business teams; updates trackers and spreadsheets for key financial and operational metrics.
- Data Validation: Assists with basic data validation and flags discrepancies to the appropriate team.
- Special Calculations: May calculate pension payments for current employees and health insurance payments for both active and retired employees.
- General Ledger/AP: May reconcile P-card usage and remedy “blocked invoices” and GRIR issues.
- Food Safety: Ensure the plant is in proper sanitary condition at all times (allergen control, pest control, and guideline adherence).
