Job Description
The Assistant Project Manager is responsible for:
- Assisting with negotiations, scopes of work, change orders, submittals and RFIs.
- Helping manage construction drawings, specifications and related documents.
- Taking a leadership role in the QA/QC process, material expediting and tracking.
- Aiding in the management of subcontractors and other team members.
- Ensuring all onsite operations are conducted safely, on-time, on-budget and to our quality standards
- Building strong client/owner relationships and support business development efforts.
- Coordinating the purchasing of essential safety supplies, products, or training items.

The Successful Applicant
The right Assistant Project Manager will have:
- 2-3 years of progressively responsible experience in construction management of multifamily, tenant fit out or hospitality renovation projects in the $1M- $10M dollar range
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering or related field is preferred; or 3-5 years of experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Thorough knowledge and understanding of project budgeting and job costing
- General contracting and/or construction subcontracting experience
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong written and verbal communication
- Proven supervisory/management skills and ability to motivate/manage team

- Competitive Base Salary: $90K - $120K (commensurate with experience)
