Job Description- Support quality assurance efforts within a large-scale manufacturing environment by ensuring products meet customer specifications and internal standards
- Partner closely with operations to provide metallurgical and technical support across production
- Analyze process and product data to identify opportunities for quality improvement
- Lead and support root cause investigations, rejection analysis, and corrective actions
- Perform internal audits and maintain compliance with quality systems and procedures
- Develop and present quality reports and participate in quality-related meetings
- Conduct daily floor audits to ensure operations are running within defined parameters
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on process efficiency and product quality

The Successful Applicant- Bachelor's degree in Metallurgical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related technical field (or equivalent experience)
- Experience within steel or heavy industrial manufacturing environments
- Strong understanding of quality systems, with exposure to ISO 9001 and/or IATF 16949 preferred
- Proven ability to analyze data, identify trends, and drive process improvements
- Hands-on experience with root cause analysis, problem solving, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Ability to work cross-functionally and build strong relationships with operations and engineering teams
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, in a plant environment
- Self-motivated and comfortable working in a fast-paced, production-driven setting
- Salary typically between $70K-$100K depending on experience
