Copy Assistant-Event
Position Type: Short-Term / Event-Based Assignment
Pay Rate: $15.00 per hour
Event Dates: May 27 – June 17
Event Location: Tampa Convention Center
Position Overview
We are seeking detail-oriented and reliable individuals to support event operations as Copy Assistants. This role is responsible for managing high-volume print requests and ensuring all materials are prepared accurately and efficiently throughout the event.
Required Skills & Qualifications- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
- Experience operating high-speed copy equipment (print shop experience preferred)
- Professional communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Operate and monitor copy equipment, including coordinating repairs with equipment vendors as needed
- Process high-volume copy requests, including collating, stapling, and double-sided printing
- Organize and distribute supplies based on requests from Chief Assistants and client staff
- Maintain and clean equipment such as headphones/headsets, if required
- Track, pack, and inventory supplies at the conclusion of the event
- Submit all copy and supply request documentation to the Client Site Lead
- Accurately record and submit time worked on a daily basis
- Availability to work late evenings, particularly during pre-event setup and final event days
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift
- High school diploma or GED required
Pay Details: $15.00 per hour
