Carpenter

Reports To: Field Operations Supervisor

Job Summary:

The carpenter will also assist with construction projects and ensure all company properties are in good working order.

Key Responsibilities:

Property Maintenance:

• Perform routine repair work and remodeling of existing units.
• Replace and repair walls, flooring, cabinets, tubs, and other areas associated with a specific unit type.
• Ensure construction materials and tools are delivered, secured and installed correctly.

Safety and Compliance:

• Ensure all maintenance and construction activities adhere to applicable safety and building codes.
• Participate in safety training and maintain a safe work environment.

Emergency Repairs:

• Be available to respond to emergency repair requests, which may include after-hours or weekend work.

Record Keeping:

• Document carpentry and repair work completed.
• Maintain inventory of supplies and tools.
• Qualifications:

Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand, walk, climb ladders, and lift heavy objects up to 50 lbs.
• Comfortable working in various weather conditions.
• Work Environment:
• The carpenter will work in both indoor and outdoor settings. This role may require working in confined spaces and at heights.
