This position will facilitate the stability of and improvements to the eCommerce platform; support various internal toolsets; integrate with internal and external data sources; troubleshoot and identify solutions for technical and performance issues; monitor and provide solutions to ensure accessibility compliance across all new and existing site content; and ensure a seamless customer experience across devices and browsers.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop features that are performant and scalable using industry standard tools and custom solutions
  • Work closely with a variety of internal and external teams to track and drive resolution of technical issues
  • Identify gaps and opportunities in current business processes, and suggest and develop technology-based solutions
  • Implement and maintain third-party integrations and feeds
  • Test and validate new releases for usability, accessibility, and performance
  • Assist with developing and executing customer-facing testing and targeting campaigns
  • Support front-end web development team as needed
  • Ensure adherence to web accessibility guidelines by actively auditing website, educating development and production teams, and developing JavaScript solutions to correct instances of non-compliance

Qualifications:

  • Minimum five years E-Commerce and Content Management System development related experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience
  • Proficiency in web development languages such as JavaScript, JSON, XML, HTML, and CSS is required
  • Hands on experience in JavaScript is required, good understanding of client server technology, as well as server-side JavaScript.
  • Experience with GOLang, Java or JVM, or other backend languages
  • Experience creating and managing API integrations and data feeds
  • Strong knowledge of Agile development methodology, Test Driven Development, Continuous Integration
  • Strong knowledge of creating and managing GIT flows
  • Experience with or interest in learning browser automation tools such as Selenium
  • Existing understanding of or the willingness to learn guidelines and standards of ADA accessible front-end web development practices
  • Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and analytical abilities
  • Organized, detail oriented, level-headed, and flexible at all times
  • Able to work autonomously and prioritize tasks effectively in fast-paced, high-stress environments

Experience working in and developing for any or all of the following: eCommerce platforms, content management systems, performance monitoring platforms, tag management systems, testing/targeting engines (direct experience with Salesforce Commerce Cloud and/or any analytics tool exposure).
