Description
American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with ICU experience for a night shift position at an acute care hospital, with every other weekend availability required.
Details- Acute care hospital setting within a Respiratory/Neuro Diagnostics unit
- Night shift schedule: 4x12-hour shifts (19:00–07:30)
- Every other weekend work is required
- Floating may be required between multiple hospital campuses and affiliates
- Cerner EMR experience is required
- Active NBRC Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required
- Indiana or Compact respiratory therapy license required (if applicable)
- Current ACLS and BLS (AHA or RQI accepted) certifications required
- Minimum 18 months of recent ICU experience required (2 years total preferred)
- Education must be accredited through CoARC and regionally accredited through CHEA
- Two supervisor references required for consideration
- SSN and date of birth required for consideration
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
- Indiana residents are considered local candidates; local candidates are accepted for Allied positions
- Former permanent or PRN employees of this health system must have a 12-month break before applying as a traveler
- Travelers who have accrued 12 months of travel employment within this health system are required to take a designated consecutive break before resetting eligibility — 90 days for out-of-state residents and 180 days for in-state residents
- Candidates must work 2 out of 3 major holidays
- Up to 5 days of RTO may be approved during the assignment
- Candidates must confirm comfort with the every other weekend requirement prior to consideration
