This well established general cotnractor works mainly in Dade-Broward county with a strong reputation across all sectors of construction including healthcare, commercial, multifamily, and institutional projects. With a growing portolio of high-profile work, particulary in the healthcare space.

Seeking a superintendent with a background on hospital new construction and/ or remodels in the local market.

Job Description

Manage daily on-site construction activities for healthcare projects
Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and field staff to ensure efficient workflow
Maintain project schedules and proactively address delays or challenges
Enforce jobsite safety standards and ensure compliance with OSHA and hospital-specific requirements
Monitor quality control and ensure all work meets project specifications
Maintain communication with project managers, clients, and stakeholders
Oversee inspections, permitting, and regulatory compliance specific to healthcare environments
Manage work in occupied hospital settings with minimal disruption

The Successful Applicant

5+ years of experience as a Superintendent on hospital/healthcare construction projects
Proven experience with ground-up and renovation work in healthcare settings
Strong understanding of healthcare construction standards, infection control (ICRA), and safety protocols
Ability to lead teams, manage subcontractors, and drive project success
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Stable work history with reputable contractors preferred
Local experience in Miami-Dade or South Florida a strong plus
