Position: Data Science & Quantitative Analysis ExpertType: Contract
Compensation: $60–$90/hour
Location: Remote
Commitment: 35 hours/week
Role Responsibilities- Design complex analysis tasks to simulate real research work, including data cleaning, statistical analysis, and clear reporting.
- Author reproducible reference analyses using Jupyter Notebooks or Google Colab.
- Compare analytical methods through tasks that involve spot checks and provide clear recommendations.
- Evaluate model performance on tasks, ensuring statistics and conclusions are robust.
- Collaborate with researchers to maintain consistent and accurate evaluations.
Qualifications
Must-Have- MSc or PhD in statistics, data science, or a quantitative STEM field.
- 1+ years of experience in research, research-engineering, or data-analysis roles.
- Proficiency in Python (pandas, NumPy) and Git.
- Strong data-analysis skills: data cleaning, statistical correlation, hypothesis testing.
- Ability to communicate analytical findings effectively in writing.
- Experience in AI training, model evaluation, or benchmark/task authoring.
- High attention to detail and creativity in task design.
