Travel Nurse RN - Labor and Delivery - $2,448 per week
LanceSoft is seeking a travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a travel nursing job in Santa Monica, California.
Job Description & Requirements- Specialty: Labor and Delivery
- Discipline: RN
- Duration: 13 weeks
- 36 hours per week
- Shift: 12 hours, nights
- Employment Type: Travel
Shift & Schedule:
- Weekend requirement: Every other weekend
- No on-call
- Floating required to Postpartum (PP) if needed
- Start Date: ASAP
Unit Details:
- 4 Antepartum rooms
- 9 Labor / High-Risk rooms
- 3 Triage beds
- 200–300 births per month
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of L&D / Perinatal experience
- First-time travelers not accepted
- Active RN License (no pending license)
- Certifications required:
- BLS (AHA)
- ACLS (AHA)
- NRP
- Fetal Heart Monitoring (FHM)
- AWHONN Advanced OR NCC EFM
Responsibilities:
- Provide care for labor, delivery, and high-risk pregnancy patients
- Perform fetal heart monitoring and patient assessments
- Assist with vaginal deliveries and C-sections (circulating required)
- Support antepartum and triage patients
- Float to postpartum unit and assist with couplet care (mother & newborn) if needed
- Perform sterile vaginal exams
- Ensure proper documentation using Epic
Skills:
- Labor & Delivery management
- High-risk pregnancy care
- C-section circulating (scrubbing is a plus)
- Postpartum and newborn care (preferred)

- Scrubs: Navy blue (L&D provided)
