job summary: Seeking an Engineering Manager for a high growth chemical manufacturing client in the West Haven, CT area.
The Engineering Manager would be responsible for defining site technical strategy and providing hands-on guidance to solve complex production issues. Driving continuous improvement in safety, quality, throughput, and cost performance. Overseeing design, tooling, and implementation for manufacturing processes and equipment.

responsibilities:
- Strategy & Leadership: Define site technical strategy and provide hands-on guidance to solve complex production issues.
- Operational Excellence: Drive continuous improvement in safety, quality, throughput, and cost performance.
- Engineering Operations: Oversee design, tooling, and implementation for manufacturing processes and equipment.
- Capital Execution: Manage full-lifecycle capital projects, including budgeting, vendor management, and validation.
- Governance & Standards: Establish site engineering standards, reliability frameworks, and technical documentation.
- Cross-Functional Alignment: Partner with Site Leadership and R&D to match technical deliverables with operational needs.
- Talent & Culture: Mentor engineers, drive succession planning, and foster a culture of technical excellence.
- Innovation & Best Practices: Introduce advanced manufacturing technologies and standardize processes across sites.
- Travel: Occasional travel required.
