Business Systems Analyst

The Systems Analyst is responsible for analyzing, designing, and implementing solutions for information systems to support business operations. This role works closely with stakeholders, IT teams, and external vendors to gather requirements, improve processes, and ensure systems align with organizational objectives.
Key Responsibilities- Gather, document, and analyze business and technical requirements.
- Evaluate existing systems and identify areas for improvement or automation.
- Design system specifications, workflows, and functional solutions.
- Collaborate with developers and IT teams to implement system enhancements.
- Conduct system testing, validation, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Support system integrations and data migration projects.
- Provide technical documentation and end-user training.
- Troubleshoot system issues and coordinate resolution with appropriate teams.
- Ensure systems comply with security, data governance, and regulatory standards.
- Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in information systems, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in systems analysis or related IT role.
- Experience with ERP, CRM, or enterprise systems.
- Strong understanding of databases (SQL knowledge preferred).
- Familiarity with system integration and APIs.
- Experience with reporting tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc. preferred).
- Knowledge of SDLC methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, etc.).
- Experience in [industry-specific systems: healthcare, logistics, life sciences, finance, etc.].
- Experience with SAP, Oracle, or other enterprise platforms.
- Certification such as CBAP, PMI-PBA, or ITIL.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Detail-oriented with strong documentation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
