Description
American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab / EP Technologist with 2+ years of cath lab experience and RCIS or ARRT certification for an acute care inpatient position requiring broad procedural expertise across cardiac, vascular, neuro, and IR disciplines.
Details- Acute care inpatient/outpatient hospital setting with emergent case capability
- Cath lab unit handling cardiac, neuro, IR, vascular, and EP cases
- Procedures include coronary angiography/PCI, vascular/AAA, peripheral, IR, neuro, structural heart, EP, and pacer/ICD implants
- High-volume lab performing approximately 20–25 procedures per day
- Most commonly used equipment includes Philips, CSI, Rotablator, Shockwave, Inari, Impella, IABP, FFR, IVUS, JetStream, AngioJet, and TurboHawk
- Charting performed in Xper and Epic (Care Connect/Cupid); Epic experience is not required but preferred
- 4x10 hour day shifts, 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- On-call required approximately 5–7 days per month
- No floating within the facility or to sister facilities required
- Local candidates are accepted for this position
- Minimum 2 years of cath lab experience required
- EP experience preferred
- WA state CVT license required if applicable
- Active RCIS or ARRT certification required
- Active BLS and ACLS required
- All required certifications must be active at time of consideration
- Experience with cardiac, vascular, neuro, and IR procedures required
- Proficiency with cath lab equipment including Philips systems, Impella, IABP, IVUS, FFR, and related devices
- First-time travelers are accepted for this position
- Previous employees of this facility (travel or permanent) must disclose prior employment, including location and dates
- Scrubs are required and provided by the facility
- Free on-site parking is available
- Candidates must provide 2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years
- A full 7-year work history with all gaps explained is required for consideration
- All time-off and scheduling requests must be submitted at the time of initial consideration
- COVID-19 vaccination status will be asked as part of the consideration process
