Nights Pump Mechanic- $35 an hour up to $45 an hour
All Tex Personnel is seeking an API Pump Mechanic to join our team! We are looking for highly skilled, hardworking individuals who want to be part of a growing organization. Our client performs maintenance and repair of centrifugal pumps for industrial clients in the refining, chemical, power, and pipeline industries.
Requirements
Responsibilities
• Disassemble, clean, and inspect centrifugal pumps including vertical, overhung, inline, and split case pumps
• Use micrometers, calipers, and other precision measurement tools to gather and record critical dimensions
• Recommend repairs and work with job coordinators to build a scope of work
• Rebuild repaired pumps to API specifications while documenting all steps
• Show up to work promptly and consistently (first-shift and second-shift opportunities available)
• Perform all tasks safely
Qualifications
• Previous API pump mechanic experience - 10+ plus years preferred
• Ability to communicate information and ideas via drawing, sketch, and written inspection forms
• Ability to stand, walk, and carry objects weighing up to 50 pounds
• Operate overhead cranes, forklifts, and power tools as needed
• Has own mechanic tools
