Position Summary PDS Defense, Inc. is seeking an experienced Customer Support Specialist 2 to support spare parts ordering, delivery, and customer service operations.
This role serves as a key liaison between customers, internal teams, and functional stakeholders to ensure timely order fulfillment, issue resolution, and strong customer relationships. Key Responsibilities * Analyze supplier and customer data related to ordering, delivery, and provisioning of spare parts and related services
  • Review customer purchase orders to assess requirements and accuracy
  • Process and maintain customer purchase orders, including order entry in Cardex (ERP) and portal management
  • Coordinate with warehouse personnel and internal functions such as Sales, Quality, Accounting, and Planning to resolve order issues
  • Prioritize and analyze orders with issues based on required ship dates
  • Conduct ERP research to resolve order discrepancies and pending issues
  • Monitor and manage open orders through resolution and shipment
  • Expedite and manage critical, high-complexity, and urgent orders
  • Resolve customer claims, including Credit & Rebill, RMA processes, and root cause analysis
  • Support Accounts Receivable with cash collection when needed
  • Maintain pipeline health by analyzing part usage and demand in collaboration with customers, sales, and planners
  • Create, monitor, and report on performance metrics
  • Build and strengthen customer relationships while developing an understanding of customer culture and business strategies
  • Perform additional duties as assigned Basic Qualifications (Required) * 6 or more years of related work experience
  • Experience in Program Management and/or Customer Support
  • Experience working with SAP systems
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to manage multiple and competing priorities effectively
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint), including report analysis Preferred Qualifications * Experience in aerospace hardware sales
  • Knowledge of the aerospace and aviation industry
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
