Summary:

The Cook I is a core member of the Food & Nutrition team, responsible for variety of tasks in processing, preparation and mixing of cold food items. This role utilizes standardized recipes, procedures and practices while complying with regulatory requirements.

Education & Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1 year of experience in healthcare, institutional or restaurant cooking to include food preparation

Licensure, Registration, and/or Certification:

  • City of Ft. Worth Food Handlers Card

Hours:

  • Tuesday to Saturday: 6:00am to close (Sunday and Monday off)
