Description
American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Med/Surg Telemetry position requiring a valid NC or compact RN license and at least one year of nursing experience.
Details- Med/Surg Telemetry unit in a hospital setting
- Responsible for coordinating and delivering patient care utilizing the nursing process
- Patient population includes those with complex medical and telemetry monitoring needs
- Active NC or compact RN license required
- Current BLS for Healthcare Providers certification (AHA or ARC) required
- Minimum 1 year of nursing experience required
- Nursing Diploma, ADN, or ASN from an accredited nursing school required; BSN or MSN preferred
- Two professional references required for consideration
- Drug screen required within 24 hours of commitment
- Responsible for patient assessment, care planning, implementation, and evaluation in collaboration with an interdisciplinary team
- Performs bedside point-of-care testing as required by the patient care plan
- Assesses and anticipates discharge needs for individual patients and families
- Background check and drug screen are required; allow at least 2 weeks for results, and document due dates are firm
