Minimum Qualifications- Associate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited educational program.
- Active Ohio PTA license required to start the assignment.
- BLS Certification required from AHA or ARC. (Client may require documentation prior to start.)
- Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience in a skilled nursing facility or long-term care setting preferred. Client strongly prefers prior experience with geriatrics, fall risk management, and restorative programs.
- Experience with electronic medical records and documentation required. Familiarity with common therapy equipment used in SNFs, such as Hoyer lifts, gait belts, and portable modalities, preferred.
- Ability to work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams and follow PT-established plans of care.
