Job Description:
Summary:Primary Roles and Responsibilities:
- Project Oversight: Manage and oversee the construction of the pharmaceutical manufacturing facility, ensuring that all aspects of the project are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
- Utility Connections: Coordinate and manage municipal utility connections, including water, sewer, gas, and electrical services.
- Mechanical and Plumbing Coordination: Oversee the rough-in coordination of building mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems, ensuring seamless integration with the building's overall design.
- Change Order Management: Provide feedback and comments on change orders, ensuring that any modifications are necessary, cost-effective, and do not compromise the project's integrity.
Owner's Representative Duties:
- Act as the owner's representative, ensuring that the project aligns with the owner's vision and requirements. This includes:
- Reviewing project plans and specifications.
- Monitoring contractor performance and ensuring adherence to contractual obligations.
- Conducting regular site inspections and progress meetings.
- Addressing any issues or concerns that arise during construction.
- Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
- Managing project documentation and reporting.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
- Approximately 5 years of experience in construction management or project management.
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, building codes, and regulations.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
