Job Description:

Summary:

Primary Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Project Oversight: Manage and oversee the construction of the pharmaceutical manufacturing facility, ensuring that all aspects of the project are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
  • Utility Connections: Coordinate and manage municipal utility connections, including water, sewer, gas, and electrical services.
  • Mechanical and Plumbing Coordination: Oversee the rough-in coordination of building mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems, ensuring seamless integration with the building's overall design.
  • Change Order Management: Provide feedback and comments on change orders, ensuring that any modifications are necessary, cost-effective, and do not compromise the project's integrity.

Owner's Representative Duties:

  • Act as the owner's representative, ensuring that the project aligns with the owner's vision and requirements. This includes:
  • Reviewing project plans and specifications.
  • Monitoring contractor performance and ensuring adherence to contractual obligations.
  • Conducting regular site inspections and progress meetings.
  • Addressing any issues or concerns that arise during construction.
  • Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
  • Managing project documentation and reporting.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
  • Approximately 5 years of experience in construction management or project management.
  • Strong knowledge of construction processes, building codes, and regulations.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
