Maintenance II
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician II to support facility operations by installing, maintaining, and repairing equipment, machinery, and building systems. This role ensures safe, efficient, and high-quality maintenance services across the facility while delivering excellent customer service to residents, staff, and vendors.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver excellent customer service to residents, staff, and vendors
- Perform maintenance and repairs on:
- Plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and mechanical systems
- Gas and electric water heaters and furnaces
- Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair machinery and equipment
- Dismantle defective equipment and install new or repaired parts
- Conduct preventative maintenance and safety inspections
- Repair and maintain facility infrastructure and resident accommodations
- Operate machine tools (e.g., lathe, drill, grinder, milling machines)
- Complete work orders and assigned projects in a timely manner
- Follow all safety protocols and wear required PPE
- Report safety hazards and incidents immediately
- Experience in one or more of the following trades:
- Plumbing
- Electrical
- Carpentry
- Welding / metal fabrication
- Boiler, hydraulic, or HVAC systems
- Associate’s degree or 6 months to 1 year of related experience (or equivalent combination)
- Ability to read instructions, write basic reports, and communicate effectively
- Basic math skills (fractions, decimals, ratios)
- Strong problem-solving ability and mechanical aptitude
- Frequent walking, tool handling, and communication
- Occasional climbing, kneeling, crouching, and balancing
- Ability to lift:
- Up to 35 lbs regularly
- Up to 65 lbs with assistance
- Ability to work in indoor and outdoor environments
- Exposure to moving mechanical parts and outdoor conditions
- Occasional exposure to chemicals, electrical hazards, and vibration
- Moderate noise levels
- Must successfully complete a background check and Live Scan fingerprinting
- Clearance must be obtained prior to employment
- Requirement is due to working in a senior living environment
Pay Details: $30.00 to $40.00 per hour
