Job Description:
- Work as an RN Case Manager in an acute care hospital setting
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
- Perform case management, utilization review, discharge planning, and care coordination duties
- Preferred experience with:
- MCG or InterQual screening criteria
- CMS regulations related to hospital admissions
- Utilization management/utilization review
- Interfacing with healthcare payers and regulatory agencies
- Collaborate with physicians, payers, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure appropriate patient care and resource utilization
- Maintain accurate documentation and communication using EPIC preferred
- Must hold an active New York State RN license
- Required certification: BLS
- Minimum 1.5 years of recent acute care experience within the last 2 years
- Travelers must have experience in hospitals of similar size or trauma centers
- Strong communication, organizational, and critical thinking skills required
- Candidates must pass pre-employment health clearance, drug screening, and background check
