About the Opportunity:
Grimmway Produce Group is seeking a Staff Accountant - Grower Accounting responsible for supporting the financial accounting and reporting of grower-related activities. This role focuses on grower settlements, contract accounting, and cost tracking from harvest through pack-out.The position ensures accurate and timely processing of grower transactions while partnering with operations to maintain data integrity across systems. What You Will Need:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
- 2–4 years of accounting experience.
- Strong knowledge of general accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Experience in high-volume, data-intensive environments.
- Intermediate to advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, SUMIFS, pivot tables).
- Experience with ERP systems.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Effective communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally.
- Professional demeanor with ability to interact at all organizational levels.
- Valid driver’s license with clean DMV record.
- Must pass pre-employment drug/alcohol screen and background check.
What Will Set You Apart:
- Agriculture, produce, or cost accounting experience.
- SQL or data querying experience.
- Experience with BI/reporting tools (Tableau, Power BI, etc.).
Benefits:
Total Rewards: $70,304-$80,000 / YEARFiling Deadline: May 15, 2026 (For Internal Employees)
- Actual compensation paid within the range will be determined by factors such as the education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
