Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) Location:

Annapolis Junction, MD, 20701 CLEARANCE: TS/SCI W/FULL SCOPE POLYGRAPH Job Description: The Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) will be responsible for ensuring the security of information systems within the organization. This includes implementing security measures, monitoring for security breaches, and responding to security incidents. The ISSO will work closely with IT teams to identify and address security vulnerabilities, as well as develop and implement security policies and procedures.

Responsibilities:

Implement and maintain security measures to protect information systems
Monitor systems for security breaches and respond to security incidents
Work with IT teams to identify and address security vulnerabilities
Develop and implement security policies and procedures
Conduct security audits and assessments
Provide security training and awareness to staff
Stay up-to-date on the latest security threats and trends Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
10+ Years if security experience.
CISSP required
CISM, or other relevant security certifications preferred
Experience working in information security or related field
Strong knowledge of security principles and best practices
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Ability to work well in a team environment
