UI Developer (Web Accessibility Specialist)

Job Description: We are seeking a UI Developer with strong experience in Web Accessibility (A11y) to design and build user interfaces that are visually appealing, responsive, and fully compliant with accessibility standards. Key Responsibilities: Develop and maintain accessible, responsive, and high-performance web applications using modern front-end technologies.
Ensure compliance with WCAG 2.1, Section 508, andARIA standards. Conduct accessibility audits using tools like axe, WAVE,Lighthouse, or NVDA/JAWS. Collaborate with UX designers, product owners, and QA teams to ensure accessibility is built into the design and development process.
Implement semantic HTML, proper color contrast, keyboard navigation, and screen-reader-friendly elements. Troubleshoot and resolve accessibility issues across browsers and devices. Required Skills: Strong experience with HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and TypeScript.

Experience with accessibility testing tools and assistive technologies (JAWS, NVDA, VoiceOver Good understanding of UI/UX principles and responsive design.
