Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) – Long Term Care (CWR)

Schedule: Every other weekend & holidays required

Position Overview

Flexibility to float across units is required.

• Provide direct resident care based on individualized care plans
• Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including hygiene, feeding, mobility, and grooming
• Support mobility, transfers, ambulation, and range of motion (ROM) exercises
• Monitor and document vital signs, intake/output, and other resident observations
• Respond promptly to call lights and resident needs
• Follow restorative care plans and use adaptive equipment as required
• Report any changes in patient condition to nursing staff immediately
• Complete accurate and timely documentation in compliance with regulations
• Assist with post-mortem care and room turnover when needed
• Maintain professionalism and compassionate communication with residents and families
• Participate in required training and competency evaluations

• Active New Jersey CNA certification (unrestricted)
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of an approved CNA training program
• Minimum 2 years of experience in long-term care / skilled nursing setting
• Current BLS certification (AHA)
• Ability to float across multiple units including rehab, post-acute, and isolation care areas

• Experience working with geriatric and medically complex populations
