.NET Application Developer (Oracle / Windows Server)
Description:
We are looking for an experienced .NET Application Developer to design, develop, and support enterprise-level applications built on ASP.NET and .NET Core. The role requires strong Oracle database expertise and experience deploying and maintaining applications in Windows Server environments.The ideal candidate will also provide technical leadership, work closely with Agile teams, and contribute to high-quality software delivery in a complex enterprise setting.
Location: Dallas, TXDuration: 11 months
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain enterprise applications using .NET (ASP.NET, .NET Core).
- Develop and optimize Oracle database solutions including queries, data models, and stored procedures.
- Manage application deployment, configuration, and support in Windows Server environments.
- Collaborate with Product Owners, Scrum Masters, and development teams in Agile/Scrum settings.
- Lead technical analysis, requirements gathering, and effort estimation.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex application and performance issues.
- Participate in code reviews, design reviews, and QA/testing processes.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers.
- Support and integrate industry-specific software packages and enterprise systems.
Required Skills:
- Strong experience with .NET technologies (ASP.NET, .NET Core).
- Advanced Oracle database development and performance tuning skills.
- Hands-on experience with Windows Server-based application deployment and support.
- Solid understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and performance optimization abilities.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to prioritize work and guide less experienced developers.
Nice to Have:
- Experience with GIS solutions, particularly Hexagon Intergraph.
- Exposure to enterprise platforms such as Infor, BaaN, Lawson, Apriso Flexnet, IFS, Maconomy, Notes/Domino, or similar systems.
Experience:
- 5+ years of experience in .NET application development.
- Proven experience working with Oracle databases in enterprise environments.
- Experience supporting applications in Windows Server environments.
- Prior Agile/Scrum team experience required.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
