Instrumentation and Controls Engineer - Nuclear Power

Looking for experience with Electrical I&C engineering with specific modification packages at Nuclear Power Plants***

Electrical and Instrumentation and Controls engineer and design, providing on-site support. Work entails design and approval of Engineering Change Packages consisting of:

• Equipment specifications, data sheets, calculations, and analysis as required to support the design and configuration control process.
• Equipment specifications include transformers, switchgear, MCCs, UPS/DC, communication systems, digital and process instrumentation and controls system components.
• Calculations include electrical studies including short circuit, voltage drop, coordination and arc flash studies using OTI-ETAP software.
• Electrical/I&C design documents including single line diagrams and panel schedules, schematic and wiring diagrams, electrical physical and raceway drawings, lighting and grounding plans, and cable schedules.
• Review of proposals, schedules and budgets; monitoring and reporting budget and schedule performance; and providing technical leadership to engineers and designers for the Electrical/I&C discipline.
• Candidate will support multiple projects and will coordinate activities with clients, contractors, vendors and other members of the project teams.
