Data Engineer (Oracle PL/SQL)
RESPONSIBILITIES: Kforce has a client in Westlake, TX that is seeking a Data Engineer (Oracle PL/SQL).
REQUIREMENTS:- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a technology related field (e.g. Computer Science, Engineering, etc.) required
- 10+ years of hands-on experience in Data engineering, data warehousing and analytics technologies
- Expert-level knowledge of writing complex SQL queries using Oracle
- Expert-level knowledge of Oracle PL/SQL (Stored Procedures, Functions, packages, triggers)
- Strong working experience in ETL tools like Informatica (Power Center)
- Working experience in scripting and automation using Unix, Python in a Data Engineering environment
- Extensive experience with Relational Databases like Oracle including being able to implement performance tuning techniques
- Strong working knowledge of Datawarehousing patterns and Dimensional Modelling techniques using Oracle
- Experience building scalable patterns for data integration in a cloud-based as well as on-prem environments
- Working knowledge of Batch scheduling tools like Control-M, Autosys
- Experience with business intelligence and analytics tools such as OBIEE/OAS
- Working experience using GitHUB for Source Code Management (SCM) in a Data Engineering Practice
- Working experience using GenAI tools like GitHUB Co-Pilot
- Experience working on projects in an Agile environment
