Position Summary
RCM Health Care Services is hiring Occupational Therapists for skilled nursing facilities throughout Long Island, Brooklyn, Queens, Manhattan, and the Bronx. Both full-time and part-time opportunities are available for experienced clinicians and new graduates.This role involves providing occupational therapy evaluations and individualized treatment services to adult and geriatric residents in a skilled nursing facility. The OT will help residents improve functional abilities, activities of daily living, mobility, strength, coordination, and independence to support their safety and overall quality of life.
Responsibilities- Schedule / Shift
- Shift details: Monday–Friday
- Hours per week: Full-time and part-time opportunities available, after school hours, weekend hours
- Contract length: Ongoing
- Key Duties:
- Conduct occupational therapy evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans for adult and geriatric residents
- Provide skilled occupational therapy services to improve mobility, strength, coordination, and functional independence
- Assist residents in improving activities of daily living (ADLs), including dressing, bathing, grooming, feeding, and toileting
- Assess residents’ functional abilities and recommend adaptive equipment or modifications as appropriate
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of evaluations, treatment sessions, progress, and outcomes
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, physical therapists, speech-language pathologists, and other members of the interdisciplinary care team
- Educate residents, families, and caregivers on therapeutic techniques, safety, and strategies to promote independence
- Monitor resident progress and modify treatment plans based on clinical needs and rehabilitation goals

- Required: Degree in Occupational Therapy
- Licenses & Certifications
- Required: Applicable state licensure/certification based on assignment
