o Will you accept a first-time traveler? Yes
- Patient Types/Common Diagnoses:
o EP – Ablations, loop recorders, pacemaker/defib placement
- Required License, National Certification, Certifications (BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, etc.), or other position specific requirements such as Driver's License and/or Insurance:
- Skills required:
o For RNs: Circulate, administer moderation sedation, titrate and manage critical drips, prep/recover patients will float to Prep/Recovery area
- Support within the Department:
- Technology/Equipment:
o EMR: EPIC
o Department specific Equipment: BBG, ACT, Balloon Pumps, Impella
- Floating:
- Orientation (facility and unit):
- Scheduling:
o Weekend rotation: discussed during interview
o Call required: 1 day per week and 1 weekend every 4th-5th weekend▪ 30-minute response time
o Holiday Expectations: 70% of holidays
o RTO Requests: Manager approval (not participating in SimpliFi clinical interviewing)
o Shift times: 4 – 10hr shifts (0700-1730)
