LTAC Travel Nurse Job Details- Location: Willingboro, NJ 08046 (Burlington County)
- Setting: Long-Term Acute Care (LTAC) / sub-acute care
- Employment Type: Travel Contract (Travel Nurse)
- Shift: Night Shift – 12-hour shifts (3x12 per week)
- Hours per Week: 36
- Contract Duration: 13 weeks

- Weekend Requirement: Every 3rd weekend

- BLS Certification (required prior to first shift)

- Minimum of 2 years bedside clinical experience
- Experience in LTAC, sub-acute, or similar post-acute settings preferred
- Previous travel nursing experience or flexibility for orientation and rapid onboarding is a plus
- Perform comprehensive nursing assessments within 8 hours of patient admission and ongoing clinical monitoring
- Develop individualized care plans in collaboration with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary care team
- Accurately document assessments, interventions, and patient responses in the EMR in a timely manner
- Provide direct patient care and participate in rehabilitation plans focused on long-term acute care goals
- Initiate discharge planning and patient/caregiver teaching from admission
- Communicate changes in patient status to the clinical team to ensure continuity and patient safety
- Supervise and provide direction to LPNs, Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs), and orientees
- Promote patient and staff safety by following facility policies, infection control, and safety procedures
- Assume charge nurse responsibilities as needed after orientation and demonstrate leadership on the unit
- Engage in ongoing professional development, continuing education, and LTAC best practices
