What you will do::
The Carpenter is responsible for constructing, assembling, and repairing a variety of building materials and components. The ideal candidate is hands-on, detail-oriented, and comfortable working with tools, measurements, and construction plans.
- Measure, cut, shape, and assemble materials according to specifications
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work orders to determine project requirements
- Install, build, or repair structures and components using a variety of tools and equipment
- Inspect completed work to ensure it meets quality standards and project specifications
- Load, move, and organize materials as needed for projects
- Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean, safe work environment
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time
- Follow all safety policies and procedures
- Perform additional duties as needed
What you will bring::
- Experience in carpentry or a related trade preferred
- Ability to use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work
- Ability to read and interpret basic construction documents
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Dependable, organized, and able to follow instructions
- Experience in construction, manufacturing, or related environments
- Familiarity with material handling equipment
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform physical tasks throughout the shift
- Ability to lift moderate to heavy materials as required (up to 50 lbs and occasionally up to 80 lbs)
- Ability to perform work in indoor and/or outdoor environments, depending on the role
